Needed
Laminate and cut out the swat cards.
Have a swatter ready to use. We love to use fly swatters, especially in the shape of hands that can often be found on Amazon.
Variations
There are several different variations that you can use these cards.
- Place the swat cards on the floor.
- Add a physical challenge such as standing on an air disc, half kneeling or tall kneeling.
- While maintaining a position (half kneel, tall kneel etc.) say the name of the object on the card and swat it with a swatter.
- Add the cards to an obstacle course. While moving through the obstacle course, have stops where your kiddo has to say the name of the object on the card and swat it.
- Place the cards on the floor next to a balance beam. Move across the beam saying and swatting the cards as you go.
- Place the swat cards on the wall, move along the wall saying and swatting the cards.
